InterContinental Spa Parking and Directions
Parking: available in garage, $20 parking and validated parking for the spa.

When entering the hotel from the street level, walk past the lobby and take a right at the elevators. Take the elevator to the 2nd floor, labeled SPA. Follow the signs directing you to the spa's front desk. Please check in with the administrator and let them know you are there for a Youth Aquatics swim lesson. They will have a sign-in sheet and towels available. They can also direct you to the pool around the corner, where you will meet your instructor!

The Hilton DoubleTree Boston-Cambridge Parking and Directions:
Parking: Available in the garage. Our new and improved parking deal is $8.00 per parking space when attending lessons.  The parking fee will be waived if you spend $10.00 or more in the on-site General Store (this is a great opportunity to get a healthy snack or a hot cup of coffee).  Please make sure to present the store receipt to the front desk clerk for full reimbursement of the parking fee.

When entering the hotel from the parking garage, please sign in at the front desk in the lobby. Walk towards the jazz club until you get to the end and take a right turn. Follow to the end of the short hall and take a left. The pool is on your right. Follow the signs directing you to the pool. If you need help finding the pool, please ask a hotel employee, they are very helpful. There are towels available at the pool. There is a large, private bathroom in the pool area for changing, as well as a shower on deck to use for rinsing off. Your Instructor will be ready upon your arrival.
YOUTH AQUATICS CANCElLATION POLICY
In an effort to properly pay instructors for their time, you may reschedule or cancel your lesson at any time prior to 24-hours of the lesson start time. A-la-carte lessons cancelled outside 24-hours will be refunded. Package lessons cancelled outside 24-hours will be credited to your account. It is the client’s responsibility to cancel or reschedule their lesson in the properly allotted time by using the client portal.

Be sure to message us via our client portal with any any questions/concerns.

Youth Aquatics reserves the right to cancel lessons at any time. In the event of a cancelled lesson on behalf of Youth Aquatics, the lesson will be eligible for a refund.

Please be sure to read over our waiver policies.
Can I cancel if my usual instructor isn’t available?
We understand how valuable that swimmer–instructor connection can be, and we do our best to honor preferences. However, lesson credits cannot be refunded or transferred due to instructor changes. At Youth Aquatics, all instructors are trained in the same methodology, uphold the same standards, and complete a swimmer report after each lesson. This ensures your swimmer’s progress stays on track.
More importantly, we believe in developing resilient swimmers, and part of that includes adapting to different teaching styles. Practicing with another trusted instructor builds confidence, versatility, and independence in the water — all of which are critical for strong swimmers.

What if my child is crying?
It’s completely normal for some children to feel unsure at first. Please allow the instructor to lead in these moments — it’s an important step in building trust and resilience. Our approach is gentle, child-progressive, and designed to help swimmers feel secure while learning at their own pace.

Should I get in the water with my child?
In most cases — no.
Unless you’re enrolled in a Parent + Child lesson (designed specifically for swimmers under age 2), we ask that parents remain poolside. Our instructors are trained to build trust, confidence, and independence in the water — and your child’s focus is best maintained when the instructor is leading the experience.
If you ever have questions about your swimmer’s readiness or emotional comfort, feel free to speak with our team.

What is the difference between Standard Pools and Residence Pools?
  • Standard Pools include hotel, public, or gym locations.
  • Residence Pools are smaller, private pools at residential buildings or homes.
Residence Pools are restricted to residents of the location.

Can I cancel or reschedule a lesson?
Yes — with at least 24 hours' notice. If you cancel within 24 hours or do not show up, that lesson credit will be forfeited.
Recurring clients are allowed one cancellation per month with 24-hours notice.

What is your refund policy?
We do not offer refunds on unused or partially used bundles.
However, you may reschedule with 24+ hours’ notice, and we do offer credit for canceled bundle lessons.

How long is my bundle valid?
Bundles are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
Unused lessons will expire unless a documented medical exception is submitted and approved.

How do I sign up for recurring lessons?
Fill out a quick form on our site with your preferred day and time.
Our admin team will confirm availability and set your schedule.
Recurring lessons hold your weekly time slot, and give your family a consistent swim rhythm.
