Protecting your private information is our priority. This Statement of Privacy applies to www.youthaquatics.com and Youth Aquatics, Inc. and governs data collection and usage. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to Youth Aquatics, Inc. include www.youthaquatics.com and Youth Aquatics. The Youth Aquatics website is a business site. By using the Youth Aquatics website, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.

Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through Youth Aquatics’ public message boards, this information may be collected and used by others.
 
We do not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. From time to time, Youth Aquatics may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication. In order to improve our Services, we may receive a notification when you open an email from Youth Aquatics or click on a link therein.
 
If you would like to stop receiving marketing or promotional communications via email from Youth Aquatics, you may opt out of such communications by clicking “unsubscribe” at the bottom of the email.
 
Mobile Application & SMS Communications
This section applies to users of the Youth Aquatics mobile application and web application (collectively, the "App"). For users of our website booking platform (Vcita), the same SMS practices apply where you have provided your mobile phone number and consented to receive text messages.
How you opt in to SMS messages
When you create an account or book a lesson through the App, you may provide your mobile phone number and actively consent to receive SMS text messages from Youth Aquatics by selecting an unchecked checkbox during the registration or booking flow. SMS consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. You may decline SMS messages and still use our services through email and in-app notifications.
Categories of SMS messages you will receive
By opting in, you agree to receive transactional SMS messages from Youth Aquatics related to your swim lessons.
These include:
- Lesson confirmations
- Lesson reminders
- Schedule changes, rescheduling, and cancellations
- Instructor updates and substitutions
- Facility notifications (closures, access information)
- Post-lesson swimmer report availability notifications
- Customer support responses

Youth Aquatics does not send unsolicited marketing or promotional SMS messages.

Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your lesson activity. A typical user receives between two and ten messages per week, depending on the number of lessons booked.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply, based on your mobile carrier plan. Youth Aquatics is not responsible for charges from your wireless carrier.
How to opt out and get help
You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from Youth Aquatics. After replying STOP, you will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and you will not receive further SMS messages unless you opt in again.

Mobile information sharing
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors supporting our SMS services (for example, the messaging platform we use to deliver text messages) is permitted. All other categories of mobile information sharing follow the standard practices described under "Sharing Information with Third Parties" above.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Mobile application data
The Youth Aquatics mobile application collects information you provide during account registration and lesson booking, including your name, email address, mobile phone number, and information about the children you are registering for swim lessons. This information is used to deliver swim instruction services, communicate with you about your lessons, and operate the application. The data practices described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy apply to information collected through the App.

Changes to this Statement
Youth Aquatics reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account, by placing a prominent notice on our site, and/or by updating any privacy information on this page. Your continued use of the Site and/or Services available through this Site after such modifications will constitute your: (a) acknowledgment of the modified Privacy Policy; and (b) agreement to abide and be bound by that Policy.
